Olivia Vokes is one of our pelvic health physiotherapists. Olivia has a special interest in pelvic health in the athletic population. Her approach to physiotherapy is to support each person to play an active role in their health, throughout life. She loves working with people of all stages of their lives. Olivia graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2013 and again in 2015 with a Masters in Physical Therapy.
Olivia joined the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine team in 2015 to complete the Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship, where she worked at the Fowler Kennedy Fanshawe College location and covered all varsity athletics. She then completed the Advanced Fellowship doing field coverage for the Western Men’s Rugby team for the 2016-2017 season and treated all varsity athletes in the clinic. As a Registered International Sports Physical Therapist, Olivia holds a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy and has been privileged to cover events and clinical care for Hockey Canada, London Lightning, London St. George’s Rugby Club and continues to cover a variety of community sport events and tournaments. Her background is in dance as she has competed in a variety of styles leading into University and then became a Dance Fitness instructor. She is currently the chair of the London Orthopedic Unit and was the previous Sport Physiotherapy Canada secretary. Olivia is pursuing her levels in the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in Manual Therapy. She is also certified in acupuncture and pessary fittings.
