Physiotherapy
Matt completed his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University after earning his Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology from McMaster University. His final clinical placement was at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre, where he worked closely with university athletes across a variety of sports and developed a strong foundation in high-performance rehabilitation.
Since graduating, Matt has worked in a multidisciplinary sports medicine environment treating individuals of all ages and activity levels. During this time, he gained valuable experience collaborating with sports medicine physicians and managing a wide range of orthopaedic and athletic injuries. These experiences further deepened his passion for the field and strengthened his commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Matt is dedicated to helping people manage pain, build resilience, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He empowers his patients through individualized treatment plans that emphasize education, progressive therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy. He has obtained further certification in dry needling and acupuncture and is committed to ongoing professional development through getting additional training in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and running-related injuries.
Outside of the clinic, when not spending time with his fiancée and two cats, Matt enjoys strength training, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and a wide range of racquet and net sports and golf. He is also an avid fan of the Toronto Raptors and Buffalo Bills.
