Jenna graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Physiology. She then completed the combined MPT/PhD program at Western, where her PhD focused on measures of knee inflammation in osteoarthritis and patients undergoing high tibial osteotomy.
Jenna was the first combined Sport Physiotherapy/Postdoctoral Fellow at FKSMC, and her current research focuses on female athlete health across the lifespan. Jenna has clinical and research expertise in osteoarthritis, pregnancy, postpartum return to sport, relative energy deficiency in sport, endurance sports, runners and female athletes. She enjoys treating runners of all ages, and helping women get back to sport after pregnancy.
Jenna competed as a member of the Western Cross-Country and Track & Field Teams during her PT/PhD training, and she still trains competitively for the London-Western Track & Field Club. She is also a part-time instructor in the School of Kinesiology.
Jenna’s goal is to help females stay active and involved in sport throughout their lifespan, through improved education, research and clinical practice.
