Orthopaedic Sport Medicine
Dr. Yuta Nakanishi is an orthopaedic surgeon at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in London, Ontario, specializing in complex knee surgeries with a focus on arthroscopic procedures and around-the-knee osteotomy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, before completing his medical degree at Yamaguchi University in Japan. Dr. Nakanishi completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Kobe University Hospital, affiliated with Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in Kobe, Japan.
Following his residency, Dr. Nakanishi pursued a clinical fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in 2021–2022. He then practiced at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine before returning to London, Ontario, to rejoin Fowler Kennedy. Dr. Nakanishi brings a strong international background and advanced expertise in knee surgery to his clinical practice.
