Born and raised in London, Dr. Ryckman is a Sport and Exercise Medicine physician at Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and a family physician serving the local community with a roster of patients. Dr. Ryckman completed his undergraduate degree, honours specialization in physiology at Western University in 2018, followed by his medical degree in 2023. He subsequently completed his Family Medicine Residency in 2025 and his Sport and Exercise Medicine Fellowship in 2026 at Western University.
His connection to Fowler Kennedy began more than a decade ago when he volunteered at the clinic as a student. That early experience and mentorship left a lasting impression and inspired his career path. Since that time, it has been a personal dream of his to one day join the Fowler Kennedy team as a physician. Returning to the clinic in this role represents a meaningful full-circle moment in his professional journey.
Dr. Ryckman has a particular interest in ultrasound-guided injections, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ryckman serves as one of the team physicians for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ryckman is passionate about hockey, golf and triathlon. When away from the clinic, he enjoys travelling and exploring new destinations with his wife.
