Dr. Schultz earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. She then completed her medical school and Family Medicine training at the University of Calgary, followed by a Sport and Exercise Medicine Fellowship at Western University’s Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. She also received her Diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). She has a special interest in ultrasound-guided procedures and medical education, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Schultz has been involved in soccer and figure skating at a competitive level, and also competed at the varsity level in figure skating for the University of Toronto. She now serves as a Team Physician for Skate Canada. In addition, she has been part of the medical team for several multi-sport Games, including the 2022 Canada Summer Games and 2023 Canada Winter Games. She also provides medical coverage for several varsity sports at Western, including soccer and hockey.
