Physiotherapy Fellowship

Program Overview

The goal of this fellowship is to provide a comprehensive educational experience in the field of sport and orthopaedic physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists work collaboratively with primary care sport and exercise medicine physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, researchers and other health care professionals to achieve a balanced approach to the care of athletes and active individuals.

Recent changes have been made to the physiotherapy licensing process in Canada. Moving forward, all graduating students must complete the Canadian Physiotherapy Exam (CPE) through the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR). Once successful, they may apply for registration under the independent practice class.

At this time, these changes do not affect the application process for the Fowler Kennedy Physiotherapy Sport Fellowship. The application portal will continue to open in early 2026 and we encourage all interested second-year physiotherapy students to apply.
