Fowler Kennedy is actively searching for two full-time & two part-time physiotherapist candidates to join the Department of Physiotherapy.
The successful candidates will be joining the Physiotherapy Department of the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and demonstrate a capacity to practice and learn in a clinical practice model of inter-professional sport and exercise medicine care delivery.
The Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic is recognized locally and internationally as a leader in sport and exercise medicine, with long-standing and internationally renowned fellowship programs in orthopedic surgery, primary care and physiotherapy. Founded in 1974 by the late Dr. Jack Kennedy and Dr. Peter Fowler, the Clinic was initially established to provide care for varsity athletes at Western University. Today the Clinic is a large sport medicine centre offering a multi-disciplinary approach to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sport injuries for active individuals from recreational to elite athletes. The Clinic is a dynamic center for patient care, research, and education through collaborative partnerships with leaders in healthcare, academia, and the private sector. Mentorship opportunities exist with several therapists credentialed as FCAMPT, Sport Diploma, Advanced Health Care Practice and Pelvic Health.
