Dr. Putzer completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario (2006) before completing his medical degree at The Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies (2012). He then completed his family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois (2016) . He then returned home to complete a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic (2017). He is currently an Assistant Professor at The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in the Dept. of Family Medicine and splits his time between our UWO and Fanshawe clinics. Dr. Putzer is the team physician for the London FC soccer team, covering the men’s and women’s teams playing in the League1 Ontario semi-professional soccer league. He has an interest in ultrasound guided injections and has obtained training in this area. In his spare time he enjoys playing with his 3 children, and staying active by playing soft ball, hockey and golf.
