Dr. Robert Giffin is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Co-Director of the Wolf Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab at Western University. He is primarily interested in the management of activity related injuries and conditions of the knee and specializes in ligament reconstruction and realignment procedures. Dr. Giffin received both his physiotherapy and medical degrees from Dalhousie University prior to entering the orthopaedic training program at Western. He then completed a two-year orthopaedic sport medicine fellowship at the Center for Sports Medicine, University of Pittsburgh. Since returning to London, Dr. Giffin has held a Clinician Scientist position within the Department of Surgery and was Director of Fowler Kennedy Orthopaedic Sport Medicine Fellowship Program. He continues to serve as the team orthopaedic surgeon for the London Knights (OHL) and recently completed his EMBA at the Ivey Business School.
