ARC Medical Inc. has officially treated the first patient in its GLAD-04 clinical trial, testing JOCOAT — a liquid barrier designed to reduce internal adhesions following ACL repair surgery. Applied at the end of the procedure, JOCOAT flows through the joint to create a temporary barrier that supports improved healing and recovery.![]()

The first surgery was successfully completed yesterday in London, ON. This clinical trial is led in part by Prof. Dr. Robert Litchfield — ARC’s Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director of Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, and one of Fowler Kennedy’s orthopedic surgeons.![]()
