Dr. Joseph is the Director of Primary Care Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. Dr. Joseph provides care at Fowler Kennedy and the Roth McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre.
Dr. Joseph completed his Sport Medicine fellowship training with the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. He earned his MA at UBC, MD at University of Calgary, and completed residency training in Family Medicine at Western University. Dr. Joseph previously served with the Canadian Forces as a Medical Officer and Flight Surgeon.
He has special interests in ultrasound-guided procedures, sport/event planning, travel medicine and medical education. He continues to work part time as a rural emergency room physician. When not in clinic he enjoys his three kids, playing hockey, and cheering for his beloved Edmonton Oilers.
Dr. Joseph serves as a team physician for Rowing Canada, the London Lightning, and Western Varsity Hockey.
