Graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1990, McMaster University in 1994 (physiotherapy) and 2005 (Master’s in Exercise Physiology). Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy 2001
Doug has a 15 year history working with Hockey Canada. He won Gold with the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team at the 2010, 2006 and 2002 Olympic Winter Games, and the 2001 IIHF World Women’s Championship. Was a member of Canada’s National Men’s Junior Team that captured gold at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Grand Forks, ND in 2005, Ottawa 2009 and Silver in Buffalo 2011. In total has covered 12 World Championships (5 Gold, 4 Silver, 3 4th place) and 4 Olympics (3 Gold, 1 Bronze).
Presently works for the Fowler Kennedy Sports medicine clinic, Hockey Canada (medical liaison) and the OHL’s London Knights (head therapist).
