Physiotherapy Fellowship2001-2002 marks the eighth year of the Physiotherapy Fellowship Program. Its intent is to better prepare physiotherapists to assess, treat and rehabilitate sports injuries. The fellowship is a ten-month program, during which time the physiotherapist spends half-time assessing and treating patients, and half time in individual and class-room study, an independent research project, and team practice and competition coverage. In addition to feeling confident with enhanced clinical skills, the individual should feel increased confidence in coordinating and providing sport-site coverage. They should feel they have sufficient expertise, practice and confidence to challenge the Level 2 Sport Physiotherapy exam and should have completed a piece of research for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
