Greg Alcock receives Ambassadors Awards

In 2000, the London Convention Centre introduced The Ambassador Award. Over the years, this award has recognized individuals who were instrumental in promoting the community through bringing major conventions to the London Convention Centre. The Ambassador Award Program encourages people to increase awareness of the London Convention Centre through their professional activities and involvement within other business associations.

Greg Alcock, Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic physiotherapist, was one of this year's recipients of the Ambassadors Award for his work chairing the local organizing committee for the 2005 National Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Symposium held here in London. This event generated over $60,000 in profit for the Orthopaedic Division of Canadian Physiotherapy Association and up to 1.5 million dollars in revenue to the community of London through the influx of over 400 conference delegates.

You may recognize many of the formal committee members as employees of Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and/or the Physiotherapy School - way to go guys!

Bev Padfield, Andrea Reid, Wendy McCann, Jackie Sadi, Melanie Werstine, Rob Werstine, Trevor Birmingham, Jane Freure, Martin Chisholm, Dave Humphreys, Steve DiCiacca, Jennifer Palmer, Heather Reid, Agnes Makowski, and Dave Walton.
